Parklane Christian Reformed Church offers programs and activities that are designed to assist every member of your family to come to know the Lord and live for Him. Here is a list of the programs and activities we offer at Parklane.

Everybody – Come one, Come all!


Sunday School (All Ages) - 9:30 AM – The Sunday School participants gather and spend a short time in song worshiping the Creator, celebrating birthdays, and collecting contributions directed to special projects to further local and foreign kingdom work. Following the gathering time participants split up into age based classes to study the Bible and how to live out its teachings day-to-day.

Sunday Worship - 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM - Our Sunday worship service is designed to bring you in touch with God's love and power and to help you to face the week ahead. You will experience uplifting music, a message that relates the Bible to your life, worship and praise, community caring, and a warm and friendly atmosphere. Nursery care is Provided.

 

Neighborhood Service

Oil Change – For one Saturday every three months (February, June, and October) Parklane Church’s parking lot becomes a sprawling oil change center. Feel free to call and get your name on the list to receive an *oil change. *Some restrictions apply. Call for details. Appointments are scheduled in advance. Volunteers of all stripes are need to not only change oil, but to help check participants in, provide hospitality and refreshments, identify required filters, run for parts, shuttle cars around the lot, and more.

Children


PREP4Kids  – Our Portland Release-Time Education Program is a ministry to children that attend Harold Oliver School next door to Parklane Church that meets Wednesdays during the school day. To help share the gospel with our neighbors contact our Youth Director at church.

VBS – Vacation Bible School is a week long summer day camp where children learn about the Bible and living a Christ centered life as they sing, watch skits, hear stories, play games, make crafts, and more. Specific information will be available as summer approaches.  

Youth and Young Adults


A.L.I.E.N.S. - is a middle school and Jr. high combined youth group that meets every other Friday night at 7pm.

Salteens    - a high school youth group that meets every Wednesday Night from 7-9pm.

Young Adults - is a small group Bible study that meets Thursday evenings. Contact the facilitator, Paul Covey at (503) 313-7213.

Adults


Coffee Break - is a women’s Bible study that meets Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday morning’s program offers nursery, Little Lambs for 2-3 year olds and Story Hour for 4-5 year olds. NO previous bible study needed to participate.

Men's Life – is a men's study group that meets Monday evening at 7:00 p.m.  Interested in joining a group of men for discussion, friendship and prayer? Contact Men’s Life leader, Rory Toney, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Book Club - an informal time of discussion around the book of the month. The book club meets at the Ryerson home at 7:00 pm on the first Tuesday of every month.

Small Groups - are meeting regularly at various locations. Each group is unique in its mission and function. Contact Vance Hays if you are interested in attending or beginning a new group.
